About the designer

Sarah Sides has always had a fascination with color, pattern and texture, often collecting swatches and found objects of all kinds as a child. After college, this fascination evolved into jewelry creation and for the past decade this obsession has taken her around the globe. From Latin America to Asia, Sarah has taken a seat with metal smiths, master dyers, weavers, ceramicists and other craftsmen that have been practicing their trade for generations, learning the intricacies of their trades and observing their creative process.

Inspired by these master artisans, Sarah launched Sarah Sides Co. Her hope is to continue the tradition of hand crafted design that tells the stories of the people and world around her.

With an eye for detail and quality, Sarah creates jewelry that is unique and intended to be modern day heirlooms.
